Description
Sterifilt FAST is a sterile, single-use membrane filter. It can be attached to a syringe, and its 10 µm membrane makes it possible to eliminate insoluble particles in the product to be injected.
It is particularly suitable for the filtration of viscous or thick products and crushed pills. It allows for rapid filtration. For powders or smaller volumes of product, the Sterifilt BASIC may be better suited.

- Open the blister pack, without taking out the Sterifilt. Do not touch the membrane with the hands or fingers
- Slot the tip of the syringe into the Sterifilt
- Gently turn and press the Sterifilt until perfectly attached
- If using an Omnican syringe, push until it clicks into place
The product cannot be filtered with a needle
- Slot the tip of the syringe into the Sterifilt
- Gently turn and press the Sterifilt until perfectly attached

- Place the Sterifilt into the product at a slight angle to avoid creating a vacuum
- Slowly pull back the plunger to draw the product into the syringe
- Remove the Sterifilt
- If using a Luer Slip syringe, remove the Sterifilt before attaching the needle to the syringe
Precautions for use
Single-use – Do not reuse: risk of bacterial contamination.
Never share a cotton filter: risk of virus transmission (Human Immunodeficiency Virus [HIV], Hepatitis C Virus [HCV]).
