Instructions for use

  • The needle is protected by a cap. It should be removed at the last second.
  • Attach the needle to the syringe.
  • Place the syringe parallel to the vein.
  • Angle the needle so that the eye (bevelled edge) is facing up, at approx. 20°.
  • Push down the plunger slowly, toward the heart.

Post-injection:

  • Use a dry swab or compress to apply pressure to the injection site.
  • Dispose of the used needle using a safe healthcare waste container. If this is not possible, place it in a closed plastic bottle and dispose of it with household waste.

To avoid vein damage, use the shortest and thinnest needle available.
Larger needles can be used if the veins have hardened, or for the injection of viscous products.

Precautions for use

Single-use – Do not reuse.

Never share a needle: risk of virus transmission (Human Immunodeficiency Virus [HIV], Hepatitis C Virus [HCV]).
