Description
Le filtre « toupie » est un filtre membranaire stérile, à usage unique. Il se fixe sur la seringue et permet d’éliminer les particules insolubles de la préparation à injecter, les bactéries et les champignons, grâce à sa membrane 0,2 µm.
Il s’adapte uniquement à des seringues sans aiguille, à embout Luer (1 ml, 2 ml, 5 ml…).
Objectifs
- Réduire les risques liés à l’injection de particules insolubles (dégâts veineux, complications pulmonaires…).
- Réduire les risques d’infections bactériennes et fongiques (abcès, endocardites…).

Mode d'emploi
- Ouvrir le blister du côté blanc du filtre.
- Tout en laissant le filtre dans son emballage, introduire la seringue (sans aiguille) dans l’orifice blanc du filtre. Appuyer légèrement pour les emboiter, sans toucher les extrémités du filtre et de la seringue avec ses doigts.
- Sortir le filtre fixé à la seringue de son emballage, et fixer plus fermement le filtre sur la seringue.
- Mouiller la membrane préalablement avec de l’eau.
- Placer le filtre dans la solution à filtrer. Aspirer lentement le produit.
- Afin de récupérer les quelques gouttes qui restent à l’intérieur du filtre : poser la seringue avec le filtre dans le blister du filtre. Ajouter un petit peu d’eau dans le récipient de préparation, et ré-aspirer avec le filtre.
Précautions d’emploi
Usage unique, ne pas réutiliser : risque de contamination par des bactéries.
Ne jamais partager son filtre : risque de contaminations virales (VIH, VHC).
